Each site is tested automatically. You choose how often for each site, and what time of day once for your whole account, on the Check Times pages within EmailSendCheck.com.
How often
Set each site's frequency when you add or edit it, or with a column in a CSV import.
| Frequency | Included in |
|---|---|
| Every 4 hours | Agency |
| Every 8 hours | Agency |
| Every 12 hours | Agency |
| Daily | Freelancer and Agency |
| Weekly | Free, Freelancer and Agency |
If you move to a plan that doesn't include a site's frequency, the site is tested at the fastest frequency your plan allows, and the Check frequency badge turns amber. Your choice is kept, so it goes back to normal if you upgrade again.
What time of day
On Check Times > Schedule, choose:
- A start hour, for daily checks and checks every 4, 8 or 12 hours. Daily checks run once a day in this hour. The others start in this hour and repeat through the day. For example, with 09:00, checks every 8 hours run between 09:00 and 10:00, 17:00 and 18:00, and 01:00 and 02:00.
- A day and hour for weekly checks.
Each site runs at its own fixed minute within that hour. Spreading tests out means that a server hosting several of your sites isn't asked to send lots of emails at once, which could hit its sending limits and cause false failures. You'll see each site's exact time under Next check on the Email Checks page.
Timezone
Times are in your account's timezone, which you can change on Check Times > Timezone. Daylight saving changes are handled for you, so checks set for 09:00 stay at 09:00 all year. If you change timezone, your checks keep the same hours in the new one.
Testing outside the schedule
Click Run test now beside a site, or select several sites and use the bulk action of the same name. This doesn't change the site's schedule.
